Pumps

Shop our selection of DC & AC Pumps. We have selected the best pumps to incorporate them into our equipment (resistance to salt water, minimal noise, energy efficiency and durability). Our selection of pumps include both centrifugal and magnetic drive pumps from reputed manufacturers: Iwaki and Pentair.

Temperature Control

Aquabiotech is the official distributor of TECO products for all of Canada. TECO manufactures water-to-air heat pumps and chillers, silent, easy to use and with maximum cooling efficiency. The structure of TECO units and its titanium heat exchanger, offer a perfect protection against corrosion. TECO units also incorporate (optional for some models) a heating element for precise temperature control from 4 to 35 ° C.

DataLogging

In order to be able to control all the physico-chemical parameters of our research units, Aquabiotech has developed its own datalogger and source code. The Enviro-monitron can measure, control and log temperature, dissolved oxygen, pH, salinity/conductivity and photoperiod parameters. In this section you’ll also find parts from the best manufacturers like Oxygard and Hach.

Shelving

Aquabiotech has selected the MetroMax i Shelving as a support structure for most of its research equipment. These MetroMax i structures offer lifetime warranty against rust and corrosion (In a saltwater environment, 304 stainless steel corners should be covered with an epoxy coating). The Microban antimicrobial product protection, incorporated into the shelves, inhibits the growth of mold, mildew, bacteria and fungus.

Filtration

Aquabiotech supplies suspended solids filters (cartridges, multi-layered sand, drum filters) and biological filters (filters and substrates). Aquabiotech is particularly proud of its unique method of bacterial inoculation as well as its automatic inoculation systems.

Tanks

Aquabiotech uses specialized tanks for both research units and lobster holding systems. Made of plastic, these tanks keep aquatic organisms under optimal conditions. Whether it is for zebrafish or lobsters, you will find in this section a range of products selected for their singular characteristics.

Aeration & Gas

Aquabiotech offers quality aeration equipment to maximize air/water exchange by optimizing the size of air bubbles. In addition, Aquabiotech has developed oxygen or nitrogen concentrators (generators, filters, pressure gauges, etc.).
